La finalité étant la réalisation d’un jeu de 7 familles dont chaque artiste représente un famille à la thématique en lien avec les catacombes. Aussi, chaque membre de famille a été déterminé en conformité avec ce monde souterrain.

J’ai illustré la famille des “entrées” :
Les accès entre la surface et les catacombes de Paris sont variés, capricieux et éphémères. Les traverser représente un moment singulier de l’exploration des carrières, une aventure dans l’aventure comportant son lot de péripéties, techniques et traditions officieuses.
La série de dessin "famille des entrées" illustre 6 de ces passages sous la forme d’une icône fantasmée célébrant les aventures cataphiles spécifiques à chacun d’entre eux. Le style graphique utilisé renvoie aux estampes fantastiques du XIXe siècle, dont les thèmes évoquent le passage entre les mondes.

Acet Famille is a collective project bringing together artists and members of the Cataphile community (explorers and partygoers in the catacombs of Paris).

The goal is to create a set of seven families, with each artist representing a family with a theme related to the catacombs. Each family member was also chosen in accordance with this underground world.

I illustrated the “entrances” family:
The access points between the surface and the catacombs of Paris are varied, unpredictable, and ephemeral. Passing through them represents a unique moment in the exploration of the quarries, an adventure within an adventure with its share of twists and turns, techniques, and unofficial traditions.
The series of drawings entitled “family of entrances” illustrates six of these passages in the form of a fantastical icon celebrating the cataphile adventures specific to each of them. The graphic style used refers to 19th-century fantasy prints, whose themes evoke the passage between worlds.
